Absolutely! ABSOLUTELY!! Stay far away from this place. They file false claims under your car insurance, if you file chapter 7.
Worst company to ever get a car from. They don't work with you and they direct your payments strictly towards their interest before any money starts to come off the actual car payment. Exeter! You all suck! 1 star is too generous.
This company is completely horrible. My father financed a car through them and I am his co-signer. For certain reasons, he wouldn't be able to make payments and I don't want to be stuck with his car note, so I called them and told them to repo the vehicle. First, they tell me take it to the dealership and see what the dealership says. So that is what I did. The dealership told me to leave the car there and call Exeter to come pick it up, so I did. Please do not finance with this company!!! Call in on payment due date, set up my bank acct made payment. I check online, daily, it stated payment due, paid in full NO payment till nxt month. 4 days later monies still was not taken out of my bank but had added additional 20. fee. When i called to inquire bout 20.00 fee they (Exeter) claim my bank sent payment back which my bank deny, an my bank have NEVER reject a payment link to my routing / acct #.
