I worked at excel 13 as an assistant for their toddlers class, and unfortunately, my experience was overwhelmingly negative. The director consistently prioritized covering up problems over addressing them (the problems in class mostly was her son hitting other children) which created a toxic environment for me and children.I witnessed instances of bullying and aggression towards children, which were dismissed or downplayed by the director because the rules don’t apply to her child. My children and I have had the BEST experience with Excel. The staff and directors are all so supportive! They’re patient with my babies as they have transitioned and that’s what I appreciate the most. Aside from that, the center is always looking for ways to grow and improve. I love that they have special events like spring, summer, and fall portraits — even right down the the parenting courses the director holds for parents, staff and community. My child has been attending excel for about two years now. I have had such a wonderful experience with the teachers being very professional and the management being very connected to the community. My 2-year-old has attended Excel since she was 10 months old and loves it here! Excel Kids has become a second family for us. Mrs. Macie and Mrs. Gwen always have kind words in any time of need and are very hands-on and helpful in every aspect!
My son has been attending this daycare for several months now. He continues to enjoy his time spent with each of the staff members and kids. I appreciate the constant communication and transparency. I would definitely recommend this facility to family and friends.
