This school has greatly improved since the new principal, Ms. Byrd! I and many of the other parents I have developed a relationship with are greatly pleased! My son loves his principal all the kids do, they light up in joy when the principal walks in it’s night and day from last year. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The students are super supported the staff is super supported it’s such a beautiful environment! So glad I didn’t pull him from the school last year and I look forward to my children coming here
I substitute at Excel and many others school around PG. This school is excellent and the Principal and Teachers love those kids. What parents need to do is get involved and you wouldnt be leaving bad reviews. These teachers are basically raising these kids and all of them can be bullies and they lie like crazy. Who they learn that from? Parents need to get off their ass and get involved period. As a graduate from the school of education at Howard University the top of my class, I have learned quite a bit about child development and best practices when raising and teaching children. I see those best practices used at Excel Academy! The teachers work hard to ensure the children are actually learning. MRS. ROGERS IS ATTENTIVE AND BUSY MAKING SURE THE SCHOOL FUNCTIONS!
