The reason I sought out Evolv was because of a shoulder issue that was hindering my ability to swim. I began working with Matt in May and was slowly beginning to swim again by July. The exercises and/or stretches were specific to swimming movements, not generic. My shoulder continued to improve to the point he pivoted to strengthening the shoulder. The Barbell Babes workouts are 10/10!!! Sam is so great at tailoring each workout to my level and needs. It’s the BEST use of one hour to workout. Class sizes are super small and focus on getting the most out of the time for the women who are there! The space is clean, quiet, and you feel so supported as a woman! One of my fave parts of my week.
I was dealing with a shoulder injury that was keeping me from lifting. After 6 weeks of rest, modifications, and stretches, I'd had enough and contacted Dr. Matt and the team at Evolv. During the initial assessment Sr Matt took the time to get to know me, my fitness goals, and helped develop a plan to get me back on track with my heavy lifting goals. After 4 weeks of work I'm back to bench pressing! There's still a lot to do, but I'm not sure I would've gotten here without the team at Evolv.
I have had a great experience working with Matt to help correct my gait. I look forward to learning from him and I am increasing the strength on my weaker side from exercises he has suggested. Evolv physical therapy gets 6 stars in my book
