I am a senior resident living here at Evergreen for 2 years now. I am content living here as I believe that the staff and management treat us like their families. They go out of their way to help us with what we may want or need and ensure that we are feeling comfortable and safe. The building is kept clean and it is a beautiful space that we call home. I had a very disappointing experience at Evergreen Retirement Community. The building seems mismanaged, the elevators weren’t working during my visit, which is unacceptable for a retirement facility. The general manager was dismissive and showed little compassion when concerns were raised. I would encourage families to think carefully before bringing their loved ones here.

Looking for a place for a loved one, we were really appreciate of Teodora and her caring, straightforward approach. We appreciate her taking the time to ask questions about my dad and try to see the whole person and explained a lot about searching for retirement homes. We ended up deciding to go to a different city but had we chosen Mississauga we would have chosen this facility.

We moved my mom into Evergreen Retirement Home about a year ago, and it has been a very positive experience for her and for us as a family. One of the biggest deciding factors was that she could control the heat in her own room. That may sound small, but it mattered a lot to her. We toured another retirement home where this wasn’t possible, and it was a deal-breaker.
