My mom lives there. Today my children spent the day with their grandmother.I didn’t pack them snacks. My daughter called me hangry fighting with my mother. I called evergreen to see if they had a vending machine. I spoke with Brandon on the phone. And he transferred me to someone in the food service department and I left a message. I have worked at Evergreen for 12 years now and it’s essentially a second home. I consider the residents and staff a family. I truly enjoy going to work each day and feel blessed to call this a ministry of mine.
Evergreen has exceeded our expectations in every way. We were concerned about my grandpa's resistance to move, especially with some cognitive decline, but he is happier than he has been in a long time. Every staff member seems to go above and beyond to ensure he is taken care of properly and is safe. Along with other residents who seem to need assistance, they escort him down to meals when needed and encourage him to participate in the wide variety of activities available.
