As an architect-turned-wedding-photographer who happens to live less than 10 minutes from the Evergreen Museum & Library, I've always admired the beautiful and serene grounds, not to mention the historic architecture; it honestly feels like you've been transported to a European villa while visiting! I recently had the incredible opportunity to photograph an editorial wedding photoshoot here and it was an amazing experience. Baltimore’s hidden gem for historical homes. Lived here all my life and never knew about this place. Our tour guide John was extremely knowledgeable and informative, giving us an in-depth look at the Garrett family’s extensive books collection, artwork and family background. An amazing home.
They don't let you in to see the museum even though the website specifically states that you can tour the north wing for five dollars.
I've been multiple times. It is simply lovely here. The docents are knowledgeable and wonderful to guests. It's a must see piece of history.
