Watched Mario Galaxy in 4DX, very cool! Reasonable pricing, easy 'self service' for tickets, snacks and drinks. Very comfy and clean cinema.
Its clean, well run, and a massive venue. I decided to take a trip from Brisbane to check out IMAX. I was impressed with the cinema, but felt that IMAX didn't offer enough of an improvement in experience to be worth the time to travel or the much higher ticket prices.
We've visited this cinema regularly since it opened and it's starting to feel run down which is such a shame. The noticeable smell of mould this week was off putting and needs to be addressed. The biggest reason we'll hesitate to return though is the extortionist pricing in the candy bar. Obviously we all know the usual overpricing but it's gotten even worse.. Charging $22 for two small slushies is absolutely diabolical. We'll be heading to Dendy from now on.
