Wonder how many sales you have lost by charging a fee to try on dresses . $50 non refundable fee. Store credit if you don’t find a dress you like . Forcing you to spend in their store . 2022 they didn’t have this rule. Wonder if they just pick and choose who has to pay this fee .
Went into the store this morning looking for a dress for my daughters wedding. I will say I was greated at the door but that was it, one lady left and the young Miss proceed to let a friend in the back door and discuss there studies and teaching. After being totally ignored I left the store and will never be back. Would not recommend this business. There website shows many varied styles unfortunately none were instore.
went to look at formal dresses after failing to find a dress at others stores and found 3 i really liked and wanted to try on. the lady said that I had to put in $50 deposit just to try on the dresses. it was non refundable but could go towards the dress or store credit. however my family and I thought that was an absolute rip off, because who buys a $500 dress without trying it on first…
I was struggling to find a good quality black evening dress to wear for a wedding and as a last resort I thought of Eve (I had bought evening dresses for Deb balls there previously). As we don’t live in the Bathurst area I was very relieved to find them on line and quickly found just what I wanted. If only I could give zero stars! The practice of charging $50.00 to try their clothing on and not returning it…….. only to offer instore credit is not only bad PR but just asking if it’s legal?😯😯😯
