Disgraceful! Avoid! I went to the shop in Kingsditch Cheltenham with my daughter to choose her a bike for her Birthday. They were trying to sell it me at nearly £500 so we said we would think about it. We got home and looked on their website and it was reduced to £370 but at no time in the shop did they mention this. It cost me £395 inc delivery to store. We ordered the bike online for delivery to the store and it said delivery by 27th Nov. I went to collect it yesterday and the store was permanently closed! Currently the Cheltenham branch at Kingsditch is transferred to house of Fraser, but that's a well kept secret! Ordered a turbo trainer, was supposed to be notified of delivery but didn't happen, then received an email to say they couldn't deliver the item. Went round the corner to a competitor and picked one up straight away.
Amazing service. Really above and beyond. Such nice staff and very reasonable prices. Can't recommend enough.
Avoid and find a better cycle shop! I paid for next day delivery on their website because the site said "order by 9pm for next day delivery" but only half the order arrived the next day. I then bought the item that failed to arrive in store and when I returned for a refund a couple of days later they refused to refund - "we only do exchange or voucher". Most other good bike shops allow returns within a reasonable time frame (Leisure Lakes is 28 days for a full refund). So be aware of their horrendous returns policy before ma... read more
