Horrible experience, I closed my account 3 months ago and still get daily texts about my balance. I’ve called twice and both times I was promised it will stop, I was on the phone each time for 30 to 40 minutes. My friend was going to take over 200,000.00 and open a bank account, he’s happy he didn’t. I’m sorry I ever did. Horrible. You do not get to just force a customer into changing their account because it suits your needs as a bank. I called my bank manager & she started spouting off about how I need road side assistance, phone protection & I get shopping discounts, all for $6 a month, PLUS additional fees. ALL TO USE MY MONEY, WHICH THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A CHARGE BEFORE THIS. I told her how I already have these & that I needed my checking account back. She said that is not possible. Just tried going thru the drive thru at the South Gate plaza branch and came across the rudest teller I’ve ever meet in my life. I just wanted to cash a $40 check. She rudely said you have to go inside since I do not have an account. Well I have 3 accounts at Evans but I won’t for long. I tried telling her I have accounts but she just returned my check and walked away Very frustrating
