Wow! The Development Director there, Meagan, gave me and a few colleagues a behind the scenes tour of the studio--just wow!! A beautiful space, and I got to meet one of the dancers, Nina, who explained their training routine and demands of the profession. It was so cool! It's really an amazing art program to have locally in Eugene. They have a few fundraising programs that support the dancers directly too, which is a unique way to get involved and benefit the dancers directly. I was gifted two tickets to the Peter Pan Ballet and bought 5 more so friends could come along. We came ready for a fun night out and ended up thoroughly enjoying the Ballet! The dancing, leaping, acting and the amazing score played by the orchestra that accompanied was amazing! The details in the scenes and back drop were so fun. They put on a beautiful performance!
