Worst. Minus million stars. I've almost forgotten such an exemplary, and yet non-effective, bureaucracy could exist. Takes forever to confirm status, etc. They ask for one document then for another one, and again, and it's never ending. Documents fail to upload cause their website is buggy and phone agents admit that offering to upload using DocuSign (what?). Total incompetence. The etrade hold music plays in my nightmares This is the soundtrack of purgatory. There are undoubtedly millions of poor souls listening to 'original music made by some of our employees' as they suffer the thousand year long wait before our lord's final judgment. If only customers would be so lucky, as the wait seems twice as long before you are actually connected. Governments should take note. First off, the person I spoke with would not assist me with an account that has been opened in my name. After pretending to help me out one day, the next day he called me from a Massachusetts number asking me to send them things a business has NEVER asked to me to send. The guy also wouldn’t let me speak to anyone else and said he’s the only person I’ll be speaking to. I am reporting them to the BBB as well as taking other actions.
