Previous E*Trade employee here… Never felt the need to make a review.. until I actually had to use the customer service line. I now understand why all clients I talked to were beyond frustrated when I took their call. Store is closed
E-Trade locked out purchases of GME and others Jan 28 2021 in collusion with other brokers, had message to call them to make a trade, I was on the phone on hold for an hour and gave up. This is market interference
E*Trade blocked the ability to purchase certain stocks while allowing those same stocks to be sold. Jan 28, 2021 $GME and AMC are two that I am aware of. It is my opinion that this is unethical market manipulation and is to the detriment of retail investors. Appalling decision.
