Hi! I have been here for 8 yrs and love it! We truly are a family. Our Manager Kevin Toof is an Amazing Person who make sure his residents are cared for even having goofy names for a few of us . Our Chefs care for us chefs Chuck and Chrf Mitch ! I love taking the bus to the drs, shopping and bank where ever! Paul our bus drivers vet is always there helping people . I live in a Hawthorn facility so stayed at Estrella as a guest. The room was claustrophobic. With the"kitchen" in a closet. Open the closet and find a small refrigerator and a microwave. It appeared that they added a bathroom to the end of a storage room and made that a studio for guests. Staff were very nice. The facility has nice decor and the food was fine. Just wished i could open my suitcase somewhere instead of on the bed. There was no floor space to open it on and still be able to walk past it. VERY TIGHT QUARTERS.
My mother, Patricia (Pat), lived at Estrella Estates for 18 months. She absolutely loved living there. The only reason she no longer there is we needed to move her to memory care. Estrella Estates has a very friendly staff, lots of activities, and is super clean. I highly recommend this place for seniors who are still able to live independently.
