2009.03.17 I was just looking through some old photos and found shots from my trip to Pismo Beach back in March 2009. Stopping by this spot was definitely a highlight of that day. It had that perfect, authentic California surf shop vibe that you just can't manufacture. The smell of freshly brewed coffee mixing with surf wax was incredible. Delightful gem of a coffee shop. Coffee is delicious and perfectly roasted and balanced. The baristas take their care with each drink and you can taste it! Had the Sage Latte and Capuccino Brûlée and both were delicious. Very easy on sweet and rich in flavor. Will definitely go back when I visit Pismo again!
This was a very cool shop. Lots of trending clothes, including beachwear. Love the vibe in here and the decorations. Don’t overlook it. It’s off the main road, but just a couple minutes away on your walk around. There is a cute little coffee area that we want to try out next time. I did pick up a T-shirt and a hat.
Coming from New Zealand, it’s been surprisingly hard to find a really decent coffee. We’ve been driving and staying along the coast from Los Angeles up to San Francisco, and on our 9th day in the USA this is hands down the best coffee spot we’ve come across - especially if you’re craving a proper flat white. Super friendly staff and a bloody decent brew. Highly recommend! ☕️
Serving locally roasted Cacti Coffee which is always fresh and precisely measured. Really, it’s a perfect cup.
