I’ve been with this bank through its name changes since 1981, the tellers and eventually who became manager and assistant managers stayed much the same. A small town feel, friendly people who knew your name and spoke with you about your day, kids a good place to bank…..
I thought working at a bank may have been an easy job, but the experience I just had was the opposite. I was trying to deposit money and the man working there told me to slide my money over so I did just that. Then With a missing tooth in his mouth The man became so rude and asked what he should do with my cash I just asked him to deposit. I said I’m confused what else do you need? And he said ID. Rude experience as I’m just trying to deposit my cash at the job they work at. 1/5 stars

I haven’t been into ESSA bank physically for a long time, but when doing my taxes I noticed they were charging me dormant fees, the fee’s where more then my interest for the year. I went in to the back to check it out. I spoke to a woman named Flow, she advised she would credit my dormant fees and I decided to shut down my two accounts and purchase a CD.
