Escrow Specialist is awful. If you have a situation where you need to depend on them, don’t plan on it. They refuse to accept responsibility for their mistakes and will nickel and dime you for everything. I contracted to have them send checks. Their online software is super dated, inefficient, and missing many basic features. They did not notify me that the checks were not cashed, and ended up costing me a lot of money, then charged me to cancel the checks because they used the wrong information. Don’t believe the positive reviews with this company! Beware! This place is a joke. Fees, fees, fees! They want to add a $30 fee for a payoff quote! Totally unhelpful on the phone. Rude. Snappy. Impatient. Find another company to deal with if you have a choice. If not, good luck. I’m amazed that a company with terrible customer service skills and policies is still open.
You can be sure the positive reviews are fake. Don't waste your time. They have to be prodded every year about my insurance payment and every year I have a gap in coverage for 2-4 weeks and I have to deal with a very unhappy note holder.
Very hard to work with them. Nothing is there fault and the place blame on everyone else!!!!!!
I have been with Escrow Specialists for 2 1/2 years now and they are amazing. Anytime I need something, they are there to resolve the issue and answer questions. I would use them again for a private mortgage.
