My complaint yielded 4 CITATIONS. Yikes people. Pick another place. However, it was deemed ok that the mattress was filthy. And the staff were " reminded" how to clean a floor. its helpful to understand the limitations of respite care in a retirement home, vs respite care in long term care. They wrote me a letter after an investigation was created by Ministry. Make sure the room is clean- under the bed we found hair chunks and used hair curlers, corners gross and ask what day the room is cleaned- respite care is 1 clean a WEEK. If the room becomes soiled during the stay-it will not be cleaned- hence the urine stained floor and fecal picture. 2. Sheets will not be ch... read more
