Erin and I first met when I was fairly early on in my pregnancy and I could tell right away she would be a good fit as a Doula for us! Before hiring Erin as our birth photographer, I really questioned whether or not I wanted to disrupt the sacred space of mom-dad-baby by adding another body but when we met it felt clear that I could put this worry aside. Erin has such a wonderful presence and showed immense respect and kindness as we welcomed our baby - in no way did it feel like the intimacy between our little family was lost. My partner, 6 month old daughter and I had the opportunity to do a mini session with Erin. She captured many special candid moments of my family that I will cherish forever. My partner even said he enjoyed the session because it was so comfortable and fun! We will definitely work with Erin for all our future family photos
We were fortunate enough to have Erin attend our birth. I never thought of the ideas of having a birth photographer before meeting Erin, and I now realize how much you miss and forget when your in the moments of labour. The birth of our daughter was so difficult and one of the hardest days of my life.
