Horrible experience with Erie and their agent Nick Katsaros from Katsaros Insurance Group. I could not get a hold of this insurance group and neither could Erie and I called multiple times to cancel my policy with Erie and they told me I had to cancel with Katsaros Group. This was honestly the hardest thing to do. I could not get my policy cancelled by either Erie customer service or the Katsaros Insurance group (Nick Katsaros). I have never had such an unprofessional experience regarding such a tragic accident in my life. We have / had a 3rd party claim & It took 4 weeks to get somebody out to assess the extreme water damage to our home. Extreme = ceilings fell in through half of our home. In a very indirect way told us they would not be reimbursing us for all the water damage to our child’s room and personal belongings. I was hit by an erie insured driver in August 2024 and started a claim with them to compensate me for my medical and lost wages and at the beginning the process was going really smooth and then we made it to the settlement and now the adjuster has gone completely ghost and won’t answer the phone or call back to move forward with the settlement. This is so frustrating that he won’t respond at all and I’ve been waiting weeks to get a hold of him. How can I take this above him to get this resolved?
