I currently own about 10 chef's knives and the one I reach for as my daily driver is the Knuckle Sandwich with Pakka handle. It's heavy, sharp, and something you just know is gonna be able to prep almost anything you can throw at it. I'm not afraid to use it on root vegetables, meat, or soft produce. The Bowie tip does the fine work and the wide blade can chop/slide right through anything. Ergo Chef has good knives at decent prices with fast shipping. What more could you ask for?

To do this, I go to Costco, buy a roast chicken for $5, debone, and make broth with the bones. Yes, I know this is long and boring. The chicken is greasy and I want a good knife with a handle that will not slip i... read more
