UPDATE 3: Seriously. You can't make this stuff up. So, today I wanted to buy something (for $12) on Amazon, using my Equity debit card. Instead of the purchase going through, I got a screen saying, "transferring you to Equity bank..." and then a screen with an Equity Bank logo, saying, Equity bank needed to verify my identity, so they were going to send a text to my phone. Except I don't own a cell phone, so I can't get texts. 2 hours on the phone to Equity. They say it's Amazon's problem, and only Amazon can fix it. Finally... read more
UPDATE: The next day, I discovered that a check I'd deposited for my honey hadn't been credited to his account (although I had a receipt for the deposit) because it was the same dollar amount as funds I'd transferred to his account. So they decided it was a mistake - - without even investigating. He had to argue with them, before they tracked the check to the corporate offices and discovered yes, it was yet ANOTHER mistake. Equity Bank in Eureka is led by a big hearted lady and i have always felt welcomed. They took care of my needs for many years and always strived to resolve occasional issues.
I really like banking with equity bank. Everyone is so super helpful and nice. They always take time to answer my questions and make things easy to understand. The service feels personal like they really care and remember who you are. Overall it’s a great place to bank and I definitely recommend them.
Equity bank has been one of the best banks I have ever banked with. The customer service at the Eureka Springs, AR branch is top notch. I left my bank of 25+ years to bank with them just from experiencing their service when I went in on behalf of the company I work for. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
