Typical scam. Purchased my home and closed on the 28th of June. Within 2 weeks I started receiving URGENT letters from this company with my Lenders name on the front of the envelope making me think that my lender was trying to reach me. Inside the letter it included my county, lenders name, mortgage I.D. Number, closing date and loan amount. Upon receiving the 3rd Final Notice the letter implied that I was going to be foreclosed on. Total scam using extreme scare tactics!!! I am a first time home buyer and was immediately wo... read more

I got one of these post cards in the mail a month after closing on my mortgage. This is a scam company that is looking to take advantage of people who dont know any better. The mortgage ID number shown is fake The closing date is incorrect The lender name is "Confidential" because obtaining that information is not a simple matter of a public records search And finally, the best indication that this can go straight into the garbage is their fine print that they are not affiliated with any lending institution. I just wish I co... read more

Just what we needed! Not sure why all the complaints. It's clear when you get several mailings when you take out a new loan. Yes, you must read the bottom where it ALWAYS says "not affiliated with any lender". Like that there is no medical exam and that the agent shopped around several different companies and showed us all the options!

We paid cash for our house, and within the first week after moving in, we began receiving multiple letters per week from Equis posing as our "lender" and implying a problem with our mortgage. Except we don't have a mortgage. This deceptive marketing sending scary looking notices proves they are a scam. If people weren't paying you premiums, maybe they could afford their mortgage. Don't fall for it.

I refinanced my mortal age back in March. Got numerous mailings saying "FINAL NOTICE" regarding life/insurance policies to protect my assets if something should happen. I never reached out because I do not need their services. Furthermore it is still happening now it's June. This is beyond harassment- I've tried to call their offices and when I get a call back- I'm going to the next level with who is on the phone- because now it's making the company seem thirsty and desperate for business that I don't need or want. Whoever i... read more

Typical scam company. Multiple mailings about protecting a new mortgage. They claim to be Equis Financial, with a false NC License number and NIPR number. Their address listed is is a shopping mall. They are attempting to look like a valid lender, and scam money from the public.

After refinancing my mortgage I received a letter in the mail saying, "We have been trying to reach you regarding a matter of importance as it relates to protecting your new mortgage." This is scammy predatory behavior that vulnerable people will fall for. I would never ever do business with a company like this.
