They are liars. They will promise you anything and even if you pay them on time as agreed, they will report your debt to the credit agency as a collection. The point of a credit collection company is to recover that money. They recovered my money but they still sent an open collection to my credit report which ended up dropping my score so low we no longer qualified for the mortgage we were in the middle of applying for.
