Equitax handles my utility taxes. I called today and phone was answered immediately by a polite gentleman. He let me know check was fine to pay my bill. The front office was quick and efficient in taking my payment. The lady at the front was so sweet!! Don't know why everyone else has had so many issues with them.

Negative 29 Stars. Total incompetence at running a business. I have owned my house since 2004 and every year I cannot pay my Municipal Utility District bill online because Equi-Tax refuses to update my account with a correct phone number. The phone number on the website only has a voicemail. They NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. Send an email to them .... ha ha ha ha ha. They are just teasing you to think they will reply. We bought a new property with that we are business savy and know to research before sending payment. These scammers tried to get us for almost 900 on property tax we know nothing about. We confirmed through the TDLR hotline that these people have 3 tax collections operatoring out of this address and all their licenses are expired. Beware. I called them back and they got rude with us. Scam scam scam
