We are a husband and wife team who enjoyed road biking for a number of years. While my husband would gingerly ride 60 km on his road bike I would be dragging behind him struggling to ride 40 km. Don't get me wrong, 40 km on a road bike when you are 50+ is quite the feat but it was grueling and as the years passed it became harder and harder on the body.
