Do not use this company. It took 2 months for my 401k to roll over. During this time, my money was completely unaccounted for. Even after sending a letter from the rollover company, it still didn't get to where it needed to go for another month. During this time there was no trail for where my was. It just showed a $0 balance in my account.
Horrible. Hidden fees, poor communication, most employees need to take a customer service class. Wish it had worked out - gave them multiple opportunities but continued to let me down. Very disappointed and sad over this.
Would not transfer directly to rollover custodian. Then charged $30 to close account and another $30 for "trustee to trustee transfer" even though they mailed check to me.
Sometimes I wonder if this is a real company or someone running services out of their garage. I've emailed them several times, and I received responses initially within 48 hours. Cool, it's to be expected. I've now been waiting on a response for a week. This morning I logged into my 401k account without issues. This afternoon, on my first attempt, it locked me out. BEWARE-Absolute worst customer service experience of my life. I have been attempting to withdrawal funds from my account for over a month. The money transfer should be a simple direct deposit, I’ve filled out and returned all of the appropriate documentation and provided a voided check as I was instructed. I have heard absolutely nothin from Epic.
