Long wait times. Poorly run company.
I live in Surprise I pay 2 different water companies both have the option to turn the water off if one is not paid. I paid Surprise in full and today on an extreme heat warning day Epcor turned my water off. I called the lady on the phone was very nice I asked to speak with a manager above the supervisor Joseph who stated I had to pay the full balance before my services would be turned back on. Today could have turned into a heartbreaking situation for our family, but Zach with EPCOR in Surprise completely changed that. At my last three houses, the highest water bill I could ever remember was $30. My average water bill at Epcor is $110 month but ranges to $150+ in peek seasons. Not to mention their wonderful service charges as well as set up and disconnect fees They have a monopoly over my neighborhood. I have no other choice for water management. They double charged me this month and can't cancel one of the payments or refund me. Absolute trash or a service and how they handle things, just before the holidays too and I have other bills. Now I'm screwed because I had just gotten back into town and had everything budgeted for the holiday. I wish this wasn't a literal monopoly or I would go with any other company possible. They truly earned their 1 star rating
