Epcor is one of the worse utility companies. No customer service, the clerks at the local location are rude and the 800 # is a remote call center who is not located in our state. Epcor has poor communication and worse paying ability. They only want cash or 3rd party like Walmart. No point of setting up auto pay. They just turn it off when epcor wants too.
Literally the worst unreasonable company. Forget to switch autopay and miss only 1 payment, I called as soon as I noticed to fix the autopay and pay the missed payment and they want to put my account on cash only payments for a year. They are a joke.
You call and wait on hold for over an hour. Can’t get through to anyone. I’ve tried the customer service number and the Clovis location number and nothing. I work and don’t get off until they close and I’m at work before they even open. How am I supposed to get ahold of someone for questions on my bill. The chat online is also down.
I am always impressed with the Service I get from these young ladies when I go to pay my Bills. Not to mention the building. Always clean spotless. The exterior looks nice.
If I could give less than one star, I would. We have used EPCOR in Clovis for nearly two years and they’ve been nothing but a hassle to deal with. Overcharging with no explanation (in addition to the expected bill), being very difficult to work with and having terrible customer service. We’ve honestly felt like we’re being scammed each time we have to call and inquire about our latest bill.
