Rebuttal to Don't Use Ray's Movers Like all legal documents, we urge our customers to read the paperwork before signing, which is clearly stated at the bottom of our Releasal Forms. This customer that is referring to a damage by our company, did not follow the Policies and Procedures for Damage Claims. Don't use this company! We had recently used Ray's movers to store our furniture till our house was built. When it came time to deliver we were told by the driver of their truck that we needed to sign some papers first. He told us they would not unload until we signed a disclaimer, in essence they were holding our furniture hostage. During the unloading one of their men dropped a coffee table on our granite fireplace threshold and of course cracked the granite. Ray's refused to pay for the repair. We were out $700.
