I left TD Bank to join Envision Financial. TD use to be open 7 days a week and I use to go in there and be greeted with a smile. Then for quite a few years i would go into TD and it just seemed robotic. Then 1 day we were traveling on vacation and TD was closed. Which was very weird and I was in a rush to get some USD. Good place to bank, never had to deal with any huge long waits like I have with RBC. They lose a star for getting rid of simply free, I definitely like it more when it was free everything and that’s why I signed up to bank here in the first place. I still use mostly credit for purchase so have kept most months free(with the occasional small fee). Staff at this particular brand and friendly and helpful.
I had certified cheque for $50,000🤑 written to me from another local credit union. Teller did call them but got voicemail. Could have left message and they would have called right back. It was dead as a door-nail in the Envision branch at the time so not like they were swamped and could not accommodate me. I wanted funds available in account for paying bills online right away($21,000) and some cash. Was told funds would be held for 5 business days. Stopped in to deal with an account issue and Daljot HERR provided top shelf professional service and advice. She is exceptionally knowledgeable, pleasant and in a busy environment, very efficient. When leaving the financial institution I passed along my opinions to her supervisor and he offered up a genuine smile as he mirrored my assessment and said, "Yes, she is very knowledgeable and efficient coworker"
