I joined Entrust Savings when I first went on the field as a foreign missionary in 2001. Entrust had personal service, people remembered who you were and where you were, never had an issue trying to get hold of someone when a situation arose when overseas. With ValleyStar - yeah, good luck even getting someone to answer a phone. Most times it's "try calling some other time, we are too busy for you now". This IS NOT GOOD when in a foreign country. What a tragic failure of a financial institution! Used to be so wonderful as Entrust, but Valleystar has eliminated every good thing it was to us. Now they have sent letters informing us we must close out our safety deposit box by September 15, 2022. That gives members, many of whom are overseas, just 36 days from receipt if notice to collect or forfeit valuable in their safety deposit box! How will they do this? I have called the number on the letter for the "Business Development Manager" and it rings a few times, then goes... read more
What a horrible customer service experience! I am a new "member" and cannot get a hold of anyone on the phone, and they would not even let me in to the branch lobby in Richmond!
