I made a reservation with Enterprise over a week in advance and received a confirmation. To my surprise, the day before pickup I even received two reminders encouraging me to "check in early" and prepay—clearly reinforcing that everything was secured and ready. I did just that. The next day, after driving 30 minutes out of my way to the rental location, I was stunned to be told that **no SUVs were available at all** due to a recall.
