It’s clear to me that insurance companies are the priority. Never had a problem when I had an insurance related rental. But as soon as I rent for leisure they tell me the day of that there’s nothing absolutely nothing available to rent for me. I’m getting married and have no which way to get to where I need to go. I made this reservation months ago and was given no fore warninh about availability. Do better please.
Absolutely maddening experience. I booked a car but when I arrived they had none even after they confirmed my reservation. They sent me a subsequent email to tell me it was cancelled but that was too late. I had no way to get back to my sister's house except to pay $71 for a cab and it was 5pm and too late to rent anywhere else. They blamed it on the centralised online booking service as they don't check with the local shop to determine actual car availability.
