We collected a hire car from Atlanta airport and when we got onto the freeway we found that the whole car shook if we went over 50mph. Due to the time we arrived, we had to head (slowly!) to Asheville where we called into this branch. Alistair served us and to say he was helpful is an understatement. He sorted us out and swapped the car for us straight away, updating the booking and sending confirmation for when we drop back off at Atlanta! Thanks Alistair 🙂
Reserved a car days ahead of time. 1 hour before pick up time I was told there were no cars available... They told me to go to the airport location. The "lady" running that place needs to be checking people into county lock-up. LAST time I'll ever go the Asheville Airport location. I was treated absolutely horribly by the woman at the check out counter for the second time in several months. This location was professional, clean, fast, and friendly. Shout-out to Evan for helping take care of my rental issues after my first car blew a tire & the Enterprise team at the Asheville airport couldn’t/wouldn’t help me (& were rude and snarky about it!). I was ready to write Enterprise off forever based on that experience, but Evan and his coworkers turned it around.
Note that even if they tell you, you have a reservation, they may cancel it. I called the national Enterprise number to book a car for today. Everything went fine with the reservation process, and I specifically said to the agent, “are you absolutely sure that the location has a car available?” And she said yes. I tried to call this location to confirm before we got there that they do indeed have the car that we reserved.
