I have lived here for 3 years and ownership does not really cater to senior resident needs. I have never had hot water (only lukewarm water) and they are constantly servicing boilers to no avail. Also, they just mentioned that the pool will no longer be used and will be backfilled. Very sad. This is the pool I have had to look at since November 2025.. and it is now end of March 2026.. I moved in about six months ago. Since moving in they have permanently shut down the swimming pool. The pool was one of the reasons for moving in and now it’s permanently closed down by management. Management has been asked to put in a game room to include a pool table, dart board and shuffle board with no response. They advertise continental breakfast as part of services provided, which isn’t true. Now they are advertising that they have a functioning swimming pool, which isn’t true. often in the lobby I have had delivery staff comment if this is an elderly assisted living. It’s not “vibrant” with the number of walkers & scooters rolling around. The amenities are minimum. Only Coffee on weekdays. Repairs are on going. The new talk now is that the swimming pool will be closed. What’s left? All activities are scheduled by Debbie ( not a staff member) sponsored by by vendors. It’s not the initial Wedgewood. . Staff is cooperative. But need ongoing follow up completion of pending items. Takes adjustment…
Serious problems at this place and they are not being address ....
Great place to live. Quiet, well maintained and centrally located in San Antonio. Would recommend anybody looking for senior housing in the area.
