This is a job for... Bicycle Repairman! – There was once a zany bit on Monty Python where everyone dressed like Superman, doing mundane, everyday things, but this one guy had a secret superhero identity: Bicycle Repairman! Enoch's Bike Shop is a Neighborhood Institution! – Enoch's bike shop has served the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood for years and years, Enoch is a great guy who is honest and works hard to make sure the customers are happy. Enoch has kept all of our family bikes on the road for years, he's the best.
Great Old-School Bicycle Repair shop – I went there soon after purchasing a used bicycle from Craigslist during my work hours since it was close. I suspected that the rims have been egged by the previous owner and may need replacement. Enoch took and look and suggested that it was the tires that had the problem and not the rims. Great service, prices – Enoch is usually in his shop and has gone out of his way to be there for my hard hours - stayed late earlier today to let me pick up my bike, and in the few times I've gone in has always been exceptionally helpful and his prices are half what I've seen at Toga and City Bicycles. HIGHLY recommend.
Great deal on bike $$; limited selection but excellent service for getting the bike to fit perfect – LOVE my new ride. Enoch's has been around a long time; bike messengers are a staple there although I never bought there until recently. Enoch's moved 2 blocks from my office and the many meetings I do around town are costing me a fortune in cab fare or a fourtune of time in mass transit.
