I had an awful experience with Energy Sage. They recommended a solar installer (whom I had not heard of) but they assured me it was among their highest rated. I went with the installer ONLY because ES was so strong in their recommendation. Installer went bankrupt. Energy Sage promised me they would help me get my rooftop solar project finished. All words. Unresponsive to basic questions. It's easier to find the companies yourself and contact them for quotes.
Did some research, Gathered quotes, and selected a contractor. Signed a contract in June. Roof done, electrical upgrade done, Solar installed. End of November and still not connected to the grid or functional. Simply put, a disaster. Fighting to get connected. Finally connected to the grid January 1, after filing a complaint with RI PUC. Dealing with RI Energy Solar Dept was very difficult. It was if they did not want solar installations in RI. Our contractor was awesome, but RI Energy was simply awful to deal with.
