I booked a surprise massage and pedicure for my fiancé on her birthday last week as she is a full time mum and deserves the r & r. She received a facial as well and less of a massage which I specifically said on the phone she goes somewhere else for her facials but received one anyway. (And was given the salesmanship of products to go with it) She was greeted with rudeness from the therapist telling her she needed more maintenance than they could give on her feet and told to see a podiatrist.
