My wife and I visited this place after being told about it from a local person that lived on the island. We decided to check it out since we had passed by the business several times not knowing what they did. Our first time there, we were greeted by David who was so nice to us. David gave us a personal tour of the place and made us feel very special. We had no idea what to expect when heading over to endangered pieces…..or “very very rich dead people’s things for sale”. We saw a sign in Kehi and thought it sounded interesting. It’s basically a Meusum of curated items from all over the world - interesting, strange, fascinating, quirky, ridiculous, amazing are all words that would be fitting. I have been curious about this place as a Maui resident for years and today finally took the time to visit. The only thing cooler than this place is the owner! There is a mix of ?! and complete treasures! Bought a set of stone Chinese Guardian Lions for my front entrance and will always remember sharing this day and AMAZING experience with my son home from college for the Summer. My mindset has shifted from "decorating" to "curating". Thank you David for a delightful experience. I will be back!!
Definitely worth the visit! We were just passing through on our way to the airport to leave and I honestly wish we'd budgeted more time — there's so much to see, and I wish I'd taken better photos to do it justice. I scored a beautiful vintage sterling silver ring at a great price and now regret not grabbing a few more pieces while I was there. Dave was wonderful to chat with — his stories alone made the stop memorable. Yes, there's a $2 fee to walk through the buildings, but it's absolutely worth every penny.
Very nice guy who owns the store, if you have a chance definitely have a conversation with him. Loads of random finds you cannot get anywhere else
