I was in a forklift accident at work about 4 months ago. I went from being life-flighted, from hospital to hospital, and finally I was sent to Encore to start my PT. My first day here, I came in a wheelchair and I was terrified to move my toes, let alone do any kind of standing. I met Mr Dennis and he straight up told me "If you can do any kind of weight baring then we need to try the walker". I see both PT and OT. Very friendly and professional.
The therapist I worked with was engaging and friendly. But communication within that office in the front area between them and doctors, myself and anyone else involved was really, really inefficient. And obviously there's a strong chance that the doctor you're seeing is in that exact same building, but the imaginary wall between Southern Bone and Joint and Encore Rehab is very real. This caused a lot of delays, misunderstandings and hurt feelings along with unnecessary threats from an employer. So I concur with two of the ot... read more
