Working with Kelly and Empowered Spaces was so easy and genuinely fun from start to finish. When I hosted The Embodied Professional there, the space itself became part of the workshop — there was room for participants to move, and having yoga mats and pillows on hand meant people could really settle in and support their bodies while working through the material. I started participating at Empowered Spaces around 5 years ago . I am a PT that specializes in chronic complex pain and wanted a place to refer my patients. Several years ago, as I was leaving a toxic relationship and rebuilding a life of my own, I found the Empowered Spaces Community Garden. With no gardening space to call my own, I was excited to get my hands in the dirt, but I found this was more than a place to grow vegetables.
