I wasn't able to get in to see Kelly, but she was generous with her time on the phone, was genuinely concerned for my daughter and I, and made me feel safe and seen. She's busy because she's one of the only providers in this region who understands human beings and the better ways of supporting their healing from trauma. I'm not sure if it's the WashU/ BJC money invested in protracting the harmful medical model or what is at play.
