This is my third year filing my taxes with Empowered and what I thought would have been a smooth turnaround was a complete blunder. Tamaya helped me the best that she could but the communication this year was off. I don’t know if I’ll return next year. I have been diligently around the clock trying to get in touch with these people and cannot. I've sent over 50 emails and have gotten the run around, NEVER RECIEVED MY REFERRALS , AND NEVER RECIEVED A REFUND INSTEAD I RECIEVED A $11,000.00 BILL FROM IRS. THIS PLACE NEVER FULLY COMPLETED THE SERVICES THEY AGREED TO DO NOR DO THEY RESPOND BY EMAIL, TEXT OR TAKE ACCOUNATBILITY FOR THEIR NEGLIGENCE IN THE EMPLOYEES THEY HIRE AND THE MISREPRESENTATION THEY DO ON THEIR WEBSITE ABOUT REFERRALS. Please beware! This company does not answer the phone, return calls or keep you informed during your tax prep process. I have been waiting a full year with no response and to this day they will not answer the phone. Please do not do business with this company.
To whom this maybe concern of i keep calling everyday and every month no calls , no nothing i need to know how much is my refund and how long will it take for it to come i guess i have to go up there poor business that they are doing.
We have been using Empowered Finances for years and they have always been great. However this year has been a completely different story, they gave me my quote, I paid my retainer fee and now have not been able to get in contact with them. I have called almost everyday since April 15th trying to get my taxes filed, left messages, sent text messages with no response. I am extremely disappointed in a company that we have been using for years and it has now gone completely down hill.
