What an amazing team! My past experience with a physical therapist was being sent into a room to sit for awhile then a doctor or surgeon would quickly enter telling you the problems with your body and then hurried out the door. Possibly getting your therapy sessions scheduled on the phone later in the day. Not at Empower Physio and Wellness. Here you are treated as a human. Body and soul. I highly recommend Empower Physio and Wellness! On my initial visit, my history, symptoms, and all other relevant information were thoroughly discussed and documented. Time was taken to really understand the root of my pain and then develop a comprehensive plan to work toward recovery. Expectations were set as to a realistic timeline specific to me. As a new patient, in an emergency, I was very thankful that they were able to squeeze me in last minute. Dr Lydia did a phenomenal job at assessing my issues. She was extremely thorough during the whole process to help relieve my muscle pain. She ended the session with some follow up exercises and stretches to further help the healing process. Highly recommend.
