I'm so glad I found Empower! Pelvic health and wellness should be shouted from the rooftops especially for preemptive care.
I went 4 years ago for post partum health, and I came back four years after for push prep help. Everyone from the receptionists to the therapists have been absolutely wonderful. Everyone needs to keep moving, externally and internally. You can get therapy for both here. I had abdominal surgery in 2021 for a bowel perforation. I have been struggling with bloating and constipation ever since. My first visit made a huge difference in my bowel movements. Now we are working on my core strength. Ms Chimara explains every step. She makes awkward subjects feel totally normal to discuss. I look forward to getting stronger and learning more about my body.
I had a c section in 2021 and ever since I knew something was just off. I had horrible back pain and absolutely no strength in my abdomen. I finally called and started seeing Dr. Ashley last summer and within just a few visits I was having very little pain and my strength was drastically improving!
