I don’t know how I was so fortunate to find Lindsey at Empower Balance. Lindsey has been able to change my attitude from I can’t get stronger to I can. She encourages me at each session to challenge myself to do more than the session before. I never believed I could get stronger. Lindsey proved me wrong. I’m a stroke survivor. I suffered a right MCA occlusion 19 months ago which left me with significant left side deficits. I was hospitalized for almost 4 months. We love working with Lindsey at Empower Balance Therapy & Wellness. The fitness program is helping Mark to get stronger, enabling him to fight the symptoms of his Parkinsonism. With this program, it feels like he has also improved cognitively! We encourage everyone to work with Lindsey. You won't be disappointed!
I can't say enough good things about Empower Balance and the owner, Lindsey. I've been to many PTs before finding Lindsey and this was BY FAR the best experience I've had. She knows how to think outside the box and really does her research to help with uncommon disorders. I also LOVE that Lindsey has her own private studio. It is so much more comfortable to do PT without the chaos of a room full of people observing, talking, etc. Lindsey is so compassionate and encouraging. She is just great to work with!!
Dr. Lindsey Hershberger is so very knowledgeable and expert at getting the my son Todd to do the very tough movements he has to do to restore balance and mobility that was lost due to an auto accident in 1985. Yes even after all this time she is helping Todd's body/brain to recover abilities. And she makes it fun!
Empower Balance Therapy & Wellness has done an excellent job of helping my husband navigate, and understand what he needs to do to slow down the progression of his Parkinson’s disease. Lindsey’s expert Physical Therapy skills, along with her expertise with Parkinson’s, allows her to develop specific and unique treatment plans that my husband can do at the clinic and also at home.
