With the ever-changing landscape of insurance, today the need for options is greater than ever. Insurance is not a one size fits all. Because of Empower's carrier relationships they can shop around with more carriers than most other independent agencies and they can beat the rates of the captive guys as well. I highly recommend using them to shop around for you.
I was very pleased with ETS for my 2020 tax year. The communication was somewhat poor for tax year 2021 but it worked. For 2022 tax year it was awful. They filed the taxes and emailed that they would make an e-payment if I sent our bank account details, which I did. I called the day before it was due since I'd had no communication. Up until this Year I have been happy. This week my tax preparer failed to include my Social Security in my Federal Income tax, I was advised I would get a refund, but when I discovered the error of my Social Security an amended tax had to be filed so I owe $406 , which is problematic until I have to pay “ refund back “ now I have to pay $1650 I am incredibly ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED
