I uploaded all my files in early February for an individual tax return. I speak with an account the first week in March. I hear nothing, so I ask the status of my return on April 7--no response. Ping again on April 12--no response. Ping on April 13--finally, a response that there are clarifying questions that we need to discuss. On April 14, I receive another email from the Empire Tax team that they will be unable to process my tax return. The owner Rachel is a nasty and arrogant person who is only after your money. She may know tax regulations, but farms it out to a team of incompetent and inexperienced tax-preparers who are inaccurate and don't return phone calls or respond to emails. I will never use this company again. They over-charge and are extremely unprofessional and hostile. Amazing they act like they are doing you are a favor by doing your tax return.

I chose Empire Tax & Bookkeeping NYC because of the office location across the street from mine. Rachel was prompt, professional and fun to have as my tax consultant. She listened well, asked good questions and gave good advice. Her staff was responsive and respectful. I appreciate the good work and will turn to Empire again whenever I need professional tax help.

Brilliant, consistent and invaluable service from Rachel and her staff at Empire. Enrolled IRS Agents (so knowledgable and capable), no problem is too small or large. Best CPA's anywhere.
