Empire Swing is a fantastic spot for beginners. There are a range of levels here but I feel very welcomed as a complete novice to swing dancing and supported in my learning experience. The instructors move at a pace that's comfortable and are encouraging in the learning experience. Also just a really fun night, good exercise and friendly company! Totally recommend for anyone thinking of giving swing a go.
I've started my swing journey and I'm only a few months in. These guys are fantastic! Lovely people all round. The atmosphere is fantastic and honestly leave every class puzzling over how I can remember all the moves they teach us. Really have felt so welcomed and have enjoyed the whole experience immensely. Keep it up Kathy, Crystal and Kam!
Absolutely love coming here! Welcoming people, excellent teaching, and lots of laughs. The teachers break things down and explain everything really clearly, and structure the courses so you build upon what you're learning each week. It's obvious that a lot of thought has been put into the content of the classes, and in how to set new dancers up for success. In addition to weekly classes, there are fun and welcoming social dances as well.
Great instructors, small class numbers helped to make for quicker learning.
Danced all night. Lots of fun.
